Version 4.1

  • MAPI bug fixed
  • Decryption of a file with a length multiple of 1024 fixed.

Version 4.0

Version 4.08 (Oct. 2004)
  • A brand new dll 'Notes', enclosed with the software, manages Lotus Notes exactly as Outlook: the encrypted data are enclosed in a mail which is shown in Notes as a 'new mail'.
  • Encrypted files may be sent in "auto-decryptable" mode.
  • The uninstall procedure asks the user for the deletion/saving of his passwords.

  • CryptoBoard allow to customize the banner bitmap of CryptoMailer

  • The alea used for encryption are now generated following the PKCS#5 recommendation

Version 4.03 (May 2004)
  • Recovery available : CryptoMailer may come together with an optionnal recovery module: CryptoBoard.
    This module allow CryptoMailer to produce recoverable encrypted files. This feature is especially designed for enterprise use, allowing administrator to recover encrypted files when users lost their passwords or when they leave the enterprise.

  • Proprietary Setup for CryptoMailer which allow to manage correctly the upgrade of versions
  • Automatic detection of a password when it belongs to the list of password.

  • Securized Import/Export of passwords to ease the exchange of lists between users.
