 Do I have the right to use the cryptography of CryptoMailer ?

Yes, worldwide. CryptoMailer is - in both versions 56 and 128 bits - free of use anywhere in the world.

 What are the differences between the FULL and FREE version ?
  • FREE implements 56 bits cryptography. FULL implements 128 bits cryptography.
  • FREE allows only 2 passwords to be memorized. FULL allow up to 64 passwords.
  • FULL implements the 'key-export' function that allow to share keys with your community.
  • FULL offers key recovery capability, a key feature when using CryptoMailer in the enterprise.

 How to encrypt a directory or sub-directories with CryptoMailer ?

In its current version (4.10), CryptoMailer doesn't encrypt/decrypt complete directories. This feature is planned for next release.

 Does CryptoMailer work with Lotus Notes ?

Yes. CryptoMailer works with Lotus Notes exactly the same way it works with Outlook: It opens the main interface and encloses the encrypted data into the new mail.

 What algorithms does CryptoMailer implement ?
  • AES and 3DES 128 bits for mail and file encryption,
  • MD5 for signature and hash mechanisms
  • RSA 1024 bits for recovery mechanisms (FULL version),
  • PKCS#5 algorithms for the alea generation.
