You are trying to open a VPN tunnel and you are experiencing the following error:

Error VPN086: "received remote ID other than expected" (Remote ID mismatch).

The message "received remote ID other than expected" was received. It means the Remote ID value doesn't match the value expected by the remote VPN endpoint (gateway/peer).

Console message example:

You may:

Check the value "Local ID" in "Phase 1 Advanced" to be consistent with the remote ID of the VPN gateway or peer.
Warning: the remote ID on the router is the local ID on the IPSec VPN Client and conversely !
